ALABAMA MISSIONS

The Bible is the heart of the curriculum at Faulkner University, accepted and taught as the inspired, authoritative and all-sufficient word of God. Training for dedicated Christian service is emphasized in and out of the classroom.  The College of Biblical Studies exists to serve all students of the university. Every student must take a Bible course within every fifteen hours enrolled.  The College of Biblical Studies also offers degree tracks designed for those who plan to devote themselves to full-time service in the church.  Visit at: www.faulkner.edu

 

House to House began in 1994 with the idea of having churches of Christ throughout the world cooperating to seek and save the lost through direct mail. HTH is a bi-monthly publication that has grown to a circulation of nearly 3 million. It is distributed by over 1,100 congregations in 48 states and 8 foreign countries and has been translated into four different languages. HONDURAN MISSIONS

Family Life Missions

Family Life Missions (FLM) has been a longstanding work based in Catacamas Honduras. We operate the Por Los Niños Children’s Homes in one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere. In Honduras, the average family has about four children and the age of the population at large is fifteen years old. In Honduras, around 50 percent of households live in poverty, and 30 percent in extreme poverty. Most of the poor live in rural areas where over 80% live without clean water or sanitary facilities. Education is also a factor in Honduras as 83% of the population do not receive more than a third grade education.  Visit at: www.porlosninos.org

Ron Clayton

An effort headed by Brother Ron Clayton to bring the word of God and the Gospel of Jesus to the people of India.  This effort provides many opportunities to the country: City Evangelism, Village Evangelism, Kate Cabe Memorial Bible Institute, Gospel Film Teams, Supplying Tools for Native Indian Preachers, Preacher Assistance, Denominational Preachers’ Seminars, India Bible School, Printing Gospel Literature, Karen Primary School, Ellen Carthen Memorial Medical Clinic, Carl Crosser Memorial Institute of Biblical Studies, Follow-up Work, Haslam-Fulford Memorial Preachers’ Lectures, Women Helping Women, Violet’s Kids, Harvey Cabe Memorial Children’s Home


 

NIGERIA MISSIONS

School of Biblical Studies in Jos

The School of Biblical Studies, Jos, was established on August 20, 1989, for the purpose of educating men and women in the work of God. Nigeria Missions: Steve Worley

PERU MISSIONS

Barton & Allison Kizer

Barton and Allison Kizer are living and working in the Latin American city of Cusco, Peru.  The Kizers are working with a team of three families to plant a church in the heart of the city of Cusco. They plan to concentrate their efforts on teaching the Bible to the Peruvians and developing the city through service. Cusco is a growing city that has recently reached a population status of 1,000,000 people. It is a gateway city that continues to grow, and Cusco is home to many people caught in transition and looking for hope. WORLD WIDE MISSIONS

World Bible School

World Bible School is one of the Christian brotherhood’s most proven, cost-effective means of spreading the Gospel to a lost world! God uses WBS by linking a worldwide network of Christians, missionaries and churches to teach and reach truth-seekers, bringing them into God’s family. Everyday Christians of all ages, equipped with WBS’ Bible lessons, help teach those who want to study. They teach with printed lessons using postal mail like spiritual pen-pals. They teach with email and Web-based lessons as online friends.
